Michael---The oil lube gun question pops up every now and then. Grease
guns that have a spring-loaded seal on the plunger end are capable of
pushing whatever is inside of the barrel up to the front. Unscrew your
gun to see if such a seal is preset. I keep one gun loaded with an oil
slurry for just such occasions.

There should be either a plug or a grease fitting at the bottom of your
steering shaft. with the (horn grounding) wire/eyelet attached. If
there's a plug, replace it with a grease fitting. (Sometimes one with a
30 deg. angle makes it easier to get the end of a grease gun to snap on)
If you decide to leave the fitting in place you may have to add some
spring-type washers to ensure the horn wire is grounded.
