This is what works on my 71 TR6... perfectly!

K&N Part #E-2540 but is also said to be too tall for the TR6 air box.
K&N #E-2540 is 2-3/16 inches high.
The Fram partCA656 is 2 inches high.
The E-2540 is too high and will be compressed when fitted into a TR6
canister.
The closest element to the stock filter size (based on the Fram filters)
is the #E-3360. That one is 2 inches high and fits without compressing
into the canister.
