Bob: Thank you for taking the time to respond. Dick Taylor and you are
always great, with helpful advice and opinions. Richard Good says this cam
profile compares to his GP2, which he says has a 2000-5500 power range and
nice idle. My cam grinder doesn't think the power band is this low, and
expects a noticeable, but not unpleasant chop at idle. I'll let the list
know the results when I get it back on the road.

Regrets I'm not going to be at Mossport for the TR racing and fun.

Bruce - while this cam profile is probably not that desireable for a
street car, it is certainly not unusable. 280 degrees is the upper end of
the smoothness spectrum.

What might work in your favor is that the lift is only about 10% more than
stock. This means that the cam won't make your motor a 150+ brute, it'll
more likely be a 130+ motor (obviously the final output varies depending
on a lot of other factors). But the cam as descibed is not a race cam by
any stretch.

As far as good cores - all I can say is "good luck". I have to buy
complete engines for cores right now. I'm down to two core engines. Sorry!
