I would highly recommend a spin on oil filter adapter. You can get with or
without fittings for an oil cooler. Unless you plan on putting your engine
under
a lot of stress, an oil cooler is not going to be a big benfit to you.
Filters for the adapter are available anywhere (use the type for a Ford Escort,
ie
Fram 3600) and the filters are a lot easier to change. You can go to any
service location for an oil change. It's always fun watching the service tech
scurry
around trying to locate an oil filter for a TR6 in their parts manual. The
look on their face is quite relieved when you tell them a Ford Escort filter
fits.
When you first install the adapter it is very very very important that the
old "O" ring be removed from the groove in the block before the new one gets
installed. Two "O" rings in the same groove will certainly guarentee you major
oil loss and all the problems that go with it.

As for the seat belts, you cannot get new Kangol belts. There are several
replacement belts available that are better than the original. The receptacle
end
is available in two lengths. I recommend the longer stalk. I have the shorter
one and everytime I tilt the seats forward, the seat belt receptacle gets
caught under the seat when I lower it. This problem would be eliminated with
the
longer receptacle stalk.
