I've recently completed a total major rebuild of my engine. But alas, I will have to wait for sometime for it's installation back into the engine bay, 1 year or more. 1st, how long can the engine sit without long term damage? 2nd, What can I do to prevent any damage to the interior of the block and cylinders, i.e. rust?
