Anyone want to rent the track with us? We need to get an idea of how many
people would go.

Dear Tom:
Got the skinny on oxford plains.
They will rent out the track on either Tuesday or Thursday from
8AM-4PM. Costs are $25/hour/car. Normally one car on track at a
time. No special insurance is needed. We can have as many drivers as
we want, just the cars are charged.
We can invite as many triumph drivers but we will need the number in advance.
We can have a bbq in parking lot or maybe in pit row. I need to speak
with owner on this aspect of the event.
If its just you and me then it'll be much smaller scale.
The schedule is not firm yet but Track season is April - Ocotber. I
am to call back next month to set a date. You may want to start
thinking of a deadline for the orange avenger to be completed. Take
the next 30 days or so to come up with a set of dates we can reserve
the track. We'll definately have to take a day off from work so it
will have to be a Thursday if its after May 7th ( I teach summer
school on Monday and Tuesday from May 7th to July 1st.
Maybe you can send up a trial balloon on six pack ? to ascertain how
many people would be interested.
What do you think. Does this sound like a great time or what?
