Richard---It may be easier to press the jets down to equal the lowest of
the three.
Best to use a gauge block that fits into the recess, machined to cover
the top of the jet...but you can cut off a length of an Allen wrench,
like a 3/32", and lay it on top of the jet. Use a press to push it down
till the bridge of the carburetor stops it. All jets should then be
equal in depth.
If your needles are adjustable, getting the jets dead even isn't so
critical. In the interest of setting all the needles even, hopefully in
the middle of their ranges at idle speed, it would be better of course
to have the jets even.
For what it's worth, the jets on my '73 ZS carbs came with their jets
set at .125.
