Bob, I've run both the petronix and crane systems. The petronix always had a light miss at around 2500 rpm that drove me nuts. I installed the crane and the problem went away. I run a Crane XR3000 (the big brother to the XR700) with a Lucas sport coil and I'm very satisfied.
