The cylinder head height for a typical US spec TR6 is 3.535 inches. A head
which is stamped 218227 inside the valve cover between cyls 1 & 2 or is it 3
& 4 will have that number. To machine that head so it has a TR6 injection CR
of 9.5:1 requires the height to be reduced from 3.535 to 3.400 inches. The
reference points for the dimension are obviously devoid of valve cover and
cylinder head gaskets.
