Bob -

I'm no fuel system expert but if the filter is dry it sounds to me like your
pump is fine, as the gas went into it. I would venture a guess and say
either the line is plugged up somewhere or the tank itself has got the crud.
If you disconnect the fuel line down by the frame gas should pour out at a
pretty good pace by gravity alone.. If not look to the tank.
