For those interested, I just moved an old TR250 engine that I have and
noticed the original heater hoses are still there. The yellow stripe is
cast in the outer layer of rubber which is over a fabric layer which is
over an inner all-black rubber layer.
If anyone is trying to make a set and wants a little sample I'm willing to
cut and send one. There is maybe 6-8" of this hose in total and they look
older than I do so I'm pretty sure they are original.
I might also be interested in working out a deal with the maker(s) to pay
for a set (painted or otherwise) as well if they are within reason.
