Jim,
All the TR6's I've owned, going back to my first purchase of a '70 model
in 1973 had the wiper motor case in bare cast metal. The steel motor
covers were painted in Hammerite "Hammered Silver Gray". The steel gear
covers were bare steel.

I've searched the archives for this before asking, so I hope someone can
tell me what the correct paint color for the TR6 wiper motor would be.
My motor seems to work very well, but the case is very faded and
corroded. Any help is appreciated.
