I had heard that replacing the rubber rotoflex with a universal joint (like
the one at the steering rack) would improve steering precision, so I tried it.
Talk about precise steering feel! However, it was too rigid. I almost broke
a finger going over a pot hole, so I replaced the rubber. This, along with
the solid alloy steering rack mounts and the bushings really changed the slop
in my steering as well.
