I have the opportunity to buy a 74 TR6. I dont want to get upside down in
the car any suggestions determining the value of the car helps.
Outside:
The car is absolutely corrosion free not even any surface rust on the
frame. It was originally red and now has an older but still shiny British
racing green, every panel has a very small scratch or minor ding the
inside is still in primer. Windshield and frame are fine. All panels and
door fits look good. Bumpers are flawless.
The interior:
Seats and panels need to be completely redone. (new panels are already on
hand). The dash is mostly apart gauges out, and a new wiring harness in a
box. There is no top no bows zilch.
Engine:
Dirty but otherwise good. Compression is good and the two Webbers were just
rebuilt. Transmission (non-O/D) is fine. Has a new aluminum fuel tank,
lines and pump.
What it needs:
Install wiring harness
Put dash back together
Paint interior, inside trunk and doors
Paint engine bay
Recover interior
New steering wheel
New tires
Carpets
Clean engine bay and paint
New frame and top
