Radiator Air Duct

    I was just trying to install the cardboard radiator air-duct (New 
from Moss) and it seem too wide.  The distance from the valance to the 
front of the radiator is just a bit over 8", but the duct is like 10".  
Is this correct, or should this be trimmed or arched in some fashion.  
Maybe someone with their car close at hand could take a measurement for 
me.   Thanks for any help.   John Mitchell  76 TR6
