I saw the problem right off. You don't GIVE the car Viagra to
make them
stay erect. Instead you TAKE the Viagra BEFORE you install them. Problem
solved.

Seriously, I had the same problem. My solution was a trip to the
hardware store for some thin brass tubing that was a slip fit over the
mounting
rod. I epoxied the tubing onto the mounting rod, and then installed the
visor
over the brass tubing. One of the visors was pretty tight, so I used
some
220 grit sand paper to smooth the brass tube, and the visor went on with
some
pressure and a few magic incantations (of the 4 letter variety).

Several comments were offered in praise of the Moss re-upholstery set.
Having recently re-upholstered my own seats, let me add a good word for
the Roadster Factory version which INCLUDES the headrest foam. As a
'weekend' project it's a bit tricky and time-consuming but the effort is
well worth it.
Now on to the mystery of the droopy sun visors. My wife bought me new
ones as a gift awhile back. They look great but how in the world does
one make them stay 'erect'? Nothing I have tried to date has worked
(wiseguys might suggest Viagra but this car is too old for that!). As it
is, they are useless and confined to storage. Any advice?
