        James:

I had to make my own. I went to an art supply/hobby store and
bought 2 sheets of 8-1/2x11 art foam. It comes in a variety of
thicknesses and colors, is very dense, and costs about $1 a sheet. I got
black, 1/16" thick, and cut it using scissors. Works like a champ.
If someone has a source of ready made gaskets, I would like to
know as well.

        Vance

so i got around to ordering the K&N filters.
but as i have heard discussed before, there is a need
for a thicker gasket to go between the carb body and the filter housing.
i *thought* the import place would have supplied this in the darn kit,
but Noooooo. not included. just the thin gaskets. nor did any mounting
bolts come with the kit (even though the picture on the web site showed
bolts)
ugh.

question: is this normal to have to order a seperate gasket and if so,
where
do i find a
thicker one? the only ones i see are the original thin ones.
