j.---The 8.5mm wires could be a tight squeeze getting in to the standard
Lucas distributor cap.
Try .030 plug gaps. Wider gaps are possible with a CD ignition.
Your ignition only sends one spark to each wire per revolution, so
having more than one ground at the end of the (multi-ground) sparkplug
won't do much in the way of performance enhancement. If there's a
benefit, it might be that if one ground get fouled, another will take
over. We know that spark will always go to the ground of least
resistance.

'74.5 tr6;installing new petronix ignitor coil along with magnecor 8.5mm
leads; have prior installed petronix electronic ignition. I know with
new set up a wider plug gap is possible and beneficial. what have you
found to be an acceptable gap setting? also thinking about using new
bosch platinum 2-4 prong plugs- what has been of benefit?if any?
