Debbie/French Blue asked a question about blocking off the vacum ports from the
carbs to the valve cover and noted that he had some seepage of oil around the
valve cover gasket.
My experience has been that the vacum from the carbs will reduce the air
pressure inside the valve cover which rshould help reduce the seepage of oil
from around the valve cover. Therefore I would think that blocking off the
vacum ports from the carbs to the valve cover would tend to increase the
seepage around the valve cover. YMMV.
