        Rebuilding your carbs would be the best way to go, but....

        You can simply replace the o-ring in the needle assembly. I used
o-rings from a hardware store, and no problems yet. You will need a
carburetor adjustment tool, or a suitably long hex key, to disassemble
the slide to replace the o-ring. Other than that it is a very simple
job.

Hello,

My '74 TR-6 w/original ZS carbs recently began losing the damper oil.
I have to top off each time before I crank it up. It runs fine so I am
assuming
it's time for a carb rebuild kit?  Is there a recommended viscosity for
the
dampers? I've been using regular 30W. Thanks for any advice you can
offer.
