I went to Harbor Freight and bought a Wolo Bad Boy air horn. $29 or $39.
It is compact, easy to hide, does not have the "trumpet" horns, is easy to
wire, comes with a relay, and all I did was disconnect one of the power in
leads
to one of the horns and hooked it up. It is LOUD! I blanked the wiring to
the other horn.
I did this on my 3A because of the story I read online about some poor chap
in Toronto, as I recall, that got chewed up by a tractor trailer that didn't
even know he had hit the car and kept going. I want to be heard, and I got
it.
The horns on my 6 are actually quite loud.
