Thanks to all who replied to my issue with the fuel starvation symptoms.
I've tested and ruled out most of the things each of you mentioned and I
will remain open minded as to the possibility that it may be the fuel pump.
I'm waiting for the gas tank to get near or below 1/4 tank to see if I can
recreate the "running out of fuel" symptom. As for now, the car runs
perfectly. I successfully blew compressed air from the charcoal canister
side to the gas tank and the reverse as well. There are no constrictions
anywhere on the vent line. The charcoal canister has no restriction to
compressed air. The first time I tried to blow air from the engine
compartment canister line to the gas tank, THE REASON IT FELT BLOCKED WAS
BECAUSE I WAS TOO STUPID TO OPEN THE GAS CAP SO THE AIR COULD GO
SOMEWHERE!!!. Once I saw my error, the vent line tested out just fine, but I
had to include this stupid thing I did so everyone could laugh. I remain
fairly certain that the fuel pump is fine. The diaphragm is in new condition
without wear or tears; the internal valves are are not out of place and I
believe they are staked; there are not leaks; the spring is fine and the big
lever that's driven off the camshaft is working just fine. However, I'll
keep an open mind and see how the car behaves when I get down to less than
1/4 tank.

Thanks again for your responses and your help.
