Okay...I'm back to my menacing little ignition problems again. This time
I've got a Series 3 that keeps eating ignition switches. The symptoms
are everything is working fine and then one day the switch won't work to
turn the starter over. If I turn the key to the on position and use the
button on the back of the starter solinoid, the car starts right up.
This has now happened for the third time and I'm running out of
switches. The last one was a brand new switch too! Has any one else had
this problem? What do I need to do to trouble shoot this? I'm at a loss
for ideas here.
