Check over your radio very carefully-somewhere there might be a switch or plug
that will change the ground. Often (but not always) radios from teh early
sixties were switchable.

Brent,

Here's a guy who helped repair a Blaupunkt radio I have for another car I'm
restoring. Although his specialty is German radios, he is quite
knowledgeable, and can probably steer you in the right direction.

European Auto Radio Specialist
Wilford Wilkes, Sr.

Good luck.

have an original "His Masters Voice" radio installed which will also
have to be polarized. The local radio repair man will not touch it which
makes me wonder what my choices are. Anybody been here with advice or
options? I thought about installing the guts of a new radio and keeping
the old case of that nostalgic look but finding a radio to fit may be
more difficult. Thanks Brent<
