Overdrive gearboxes

If anyone has their gearbox with overdrive out of the car and apart, I would
sure appreciate a digital photo of the rear face of the gearbox.

Is the rear face of the overdrive gearbox identical to the rear face of a
non-overdrive gearbox? Is the rear face of a non synchro first gearbox (the
part that matters for connecting either the tail extension, or the overdrive
adapter) identical to that of a fully synchro box?
