OD Gearbox itself is identical to non-od gearboxes.
Only difference is the mainshaft.

Early vs late gearboxes differ on the tail assembly
in that the later boxes have an additional oil port, which
makes the tailcases incompatible.

As such, the overdrive adapter casting is also incompatible
between early and late cases, although these is no difference
as to the overdrive unit itself.

This make sense?
