My S1 uses a 3-core radiator and a "pusher" type electric fan. The fan is
manually turned on by a dash switch. I only really need it when stuck in
traffic. The fan I believe is a 5-blade. I just recently replaced the water
pump and took the opportunity to flush the system good.
