Dick's thought of checking the distributor shaft for play may have turned
something up -- there is some play. How much play is there allowed to be?
It sorta feels like a wheel bearing that's just starting to go -- I can feel
the play, but can't really see it. I didn't try to actually measure it.
But if there is noticable play, is that too much?
All I did was to pull off the rotor and wiggle the shaft.
I've also discovered that my battery charger seems to be unable to charge
the battery above 80% capacity, as defined by the battery manufacturer
(Hawker/Odyssey). So that could be playing a part as well.
