George, I've noticed that this is somewhat site
dependant in that the sites that are harder on tires
tend to have more rubber for you to pick up. Driving
off of the line that the majority of cars are taking
will really get your tires covered with the stuff. I
also think that the CM cars are sometimes able to take
advantage of different lines than the stock class
cars, so the different line isn't always an incorrect
one. If you are cutting across the dirt line in any
of the corners though you really pick up a lot of junk
on your tires. You can also get a lot of pickup
driving from the course back to grid. There's not
much you can do about that one other than try to drive
in the same area everyone else was and hopefully they
have already picked up most of the junk.
