I rec'd the following email from Geoff Hale of Louisville Ky. I don't think
it made it onto the CM LIST so I'm forwarding it via this email. If I'm wrong
and this is a duplicate, please forgive me.
Geoff, I wish I lived in your area. Can you tell us how you ended up with so
many entries in CM in one region?
As for tires, what some people do is they buy one set per year and their first
runs on them are at Nationals.

Nationals........We have a quite healthy CM class here in the Louisville Ky.
area (KYRSCCA 017). Currently, there are 11 running CM formula fords competing
locally. We have our own "mini national" every couple weekends. Occasionally,
out of area visitors drop by such as Ray Thomas, Don Elzinga, and Mark Lamm.
It is always fun to have these guys drop by and give us driving lessons! (Gary
G....come on down this weekend, Papa Johns)CB A number of us had planned on
going to Topeka this year. This and that happened, and slowly the list fell
apart. CB None of us locals have competed in the national event, but we still
hope to at some point. CB We all have a great time competing locally, all of
us are cheapskates and tend to run all year on 1 set of tires. There are some
sad looking tires out there at this point. (that way, we all suck at the same
time!)CB I'm thinking that by next summer a number of us will be there. Bruce
Domeck has been trying to encourage us to go.....maybe next year.CB Geoff
