Introduced in '90 or '91, Toyota offered (and still does) bolts that
have a slightly thinner shank (three sizes of shanks) than the regular
bolts that mount the hub assy. to the strut. As I remember, three
bolts were designed for the Camry, Cressida, Tercel, and maybe
something else. Another set of three, fit the MR2, Corolla, and
something else. Mostly for cars the curbed hard or not true/straight
for some other reason. They came into use during the 1991 autocross
season.
