Yes, indeed. Many folks were making the course harder than it was by
driving funky lines. This eliminates the one clean line everyone is
forced to drive.

We are averaging between 110 and 140 cars in the Atlanta area. We give
everyone 4 runs and break up the event into morning and afternoon
sessions so competitors only need to be on site half the day.

Great fun but definitely not a way to run an even efficiently. This NCCC
club expected about 45 cars and ended up with 65 so they were a little
overworked.

Maybe we should start PAXing the sticky tired folks and let everyone else
run the regular class structure (at least in Stock and SP). Nah, the
powers-that-be in the region won't have any of that. Some might lose
their lock on first place in class because they are the only entrant
:-().

Yep, and we should be looking at ways to INCREASE the fun factor of our
entrants so they keep wanting to come back.

I hope I came across as being a firm believer in SCCA. However, there is
always room for improvement in any organization, including SCCA.
