Mark,
The pothole was to the driver's left across from or a little past # 194,
inside the line between #s 175 and 177. IMHO, (and apparently Mark
Sipe's too) those running through it were wasting space trying to get
a late apex past #194, when the location of #195 made that unnecessary.
Apparently, you did not know it was there because you weren't using
that line?
Moving #194 towards #176 put the bad spot so far deep beyond the turn-in
point that even those bent on the latest apex would not hit it.
