245/45/16 is perfectly fine for a 7 inch rim. The Ford probe/MX6 people have been using 245/45/16s for years on the stock 7 inch rim. as for squeezing tires onto rims, if you have some negative camber up front, Id say go for it. I run 265/45/16 Kumho V700 on the stock 8" rim on my 1998 Camaro Z28 1LE in Fstock. BTW, most people in Fstock who run Hoosiers run 275/45/16 on an 8 inch rim. go for it. Alex Tziortzis Fstock |
