I have a car that I can immediately start to autocross and am wondering what
classification it would lie under:
'84 Volvo 242 (2 door sedan)
2.1l inline 4, turbo
16 pounds of intercooled boost
ported head
catless downpipe and no muffler at all exiting before the rear wheel
beefed up auto tranny
stock 2400 stall converter
stock 3.73 rear gears
limited slip differential (I added)
stock suspension
stock wheels and stock size tires
The car weighs 3,085 with a half tank of gas and me in it. It had run a best
of 14.48@90.89 in the 1/4 mile.
where do you think she lies? Could I turn the boost down and run a different
class? Stock boost is 8 psi
