Maybe. The V-6 Probe/MX-6 are just about an exact match for the
non-VTEC 4th gen cars in weight, horsepower and torque. While the VTEC
adds 30-40 hp, the torque didn't change much, and weight went up slightly
-- so it becomes a wash on an autocross course. I consider the
PGT/MX-6 and all '92-up Preludes as a matched set -- put 'em in class 5 or
class 8, but keep them (and the Corrado SLT, which is also right in the
same perfomance range) together.

The really interesting car to watch in "GS" will be the Starion/Conquest
twins. Properly driven, this is a pretty quick car -- not a bad match for
the V-6 F-bodies.

Of course, I *like* GS the way it is -- it wouldn't bother me a bit to
leave it as is, DSMs, Type Rs and all. Even a year of M3 would be
interesting...although I think it will prove a bit much for the class.
