For those who aren't attending the CenDiv event 6/2-6/2 (Grissom) or
who are die-hards, there is a special event at the Whiteland Kart
Track, "home of the fastest rental karts in the state", that you may
want to take in. This is the same site that has been used as the
unofficial welcome party for the Columbus Indiana CenDiv Series
autocross in prior years....
On Sunday, June 3, you can pay $20, get an arm-band, and ride as many
times as you can go through the line between Noon and 8pm (possibly
longer). This would normally not even buy 3 rides at the "3-for-$25"
price. The entire track, which is now 1/2 mile with the new section,
will be utilized. (The new section makes the track a lot more
challenging, as there is more choice of line.)

Directions: I65 south of Indianapolis to Exit 95. Go west through 4-way
stop to the street just BEFORE the railroad tracks. Go north (right) to
the track. Can't miss it!

Obligatory autocross content: I can't think of the track without
thinking of the night that Dan Popp got thrown out for a minor racing
incident. Lesson learned: NEVER wear a t-shirt like the one being worn
by Gordon Kinney! <G>
