Are you guys saying have 12 events where novice drivers are not allowed to
participate and 4 events where they are (for example, as only having
participated in one event so far, I wouldn't be able to participate in the
12 points events, only the 4 non-points events?)

OR

Are you saying that there should be 12 events with no novice classes (i.e.
novice drivers drive in regular classes)? Please explain. I hope you mean
the second option.

That's a really nice idea. If only novices showed up, there'd be lots of
time for lots of runs, and they'd get better faster. But wait. What if
some hypothetical person is not allowed to be a novice after this season?!
I mean, I still suck, and I could use the practice of a "school day". I
mean.. Wait, wait, wait.. I mean THEY still suck, and THEY could still use
the practice of a "school day".
