I am planning on going on down to Monterey for the meet and was
wondering what to bring other than luck. I normally don't like to go
with just my hat in my hand but since there is no storage space in the
car I am wondering what to bring for me and others. I was thinking of
bringing a jack, some air tubing, flat repair, and a few tools. What
else is a common "on the road" repair that caught you by surprise.
Okay, I have to admit right here and now that I mounted my compressor on
the frame under the car by threading the holes that I drilled into the
frame (although I used some locktite, there are only two machine screws
holding the compressor up there so I may well be getting in and out of
the car through the hatch) because that was where the Monroe compressor
was at and I didn't want to bother with taking off the bumper and
welding a plate there! Hey, maybe I'll bring the old compressor and
work on the car all weekend -- why not? Thanks, Kim.
