This would be an outrageously hot ratio if it's true. 2.40? Does that
pertain to the AMC drivetrain (I thought the lowest was 2.56). If it's a
75-76-compatible, I can't do it.
For some, top speed is better than qtr mile.

I remember hearing that the Versaille rear end is a drop in to the Brick,
giving the benefits of rear disc brakes and a limitted slip diff. Looking
around a bit, it appears the versaille came with some pretty pathetic gear
ratios (2.40). Anyone have any suggestions or info on this upgrade?
