That assumption is not correct.  The nuts that hold the blower motor box in 
place to the firewall are the ones you are looking at.  There are 4 total that 
hold the box to the firewall.. the 3 on the motor ring area.. and 1 more off 
to the side.  You will also have to remove the screw from the bracket inside 
the passenger compartment on the passenger side.  You will probably want to 
remove the dash to be able to have enough room to pull the blower motor box out 
and then you will be able to replace the motor itself.
