OK, going through all the wiing again. I decided to check the voltage at the
choke. Removed the lead and then thought I would try to start the car. Fired
right up. Not sure what is going on, but something has changed somewhere
since I have had this lead on there for a while and it is the correct 12v that
is required by the carb. Does not explain the low or no spark condition that
I was seeing. Maybe a grounding issue or something I am not sure. I can live
without the electric choke if the car starts.

Thanks as always for the suggestions. I have messed up a few things, corected
them and checked a lot of things that were OK. So I should have the good
feeling that everything is good. Now to get ready for the show. I did a
little cleaning last night and need to do some vacuuming and install my
passenger seat again. Try out some new seats since I could not get the car
started.. Still need some work there.
