Hi, this is my first posting to this group. I'm on my second triumph at
the moment - a lovely white Herald 13/60 convertable - my first being
a Mk 4 Spitfire. I was wondering if there are many Herald or Vitesse
owners on the other side of the pond, I get the impression that many
Spits were exported but I never seem to here much about any other Herald
chassis derivatives.

Someone's offered me a good deal on a pair of recon. Spitfire SUs and a
set of inlet and exhaust manifolds (70 quid) and was curious to hear
about anybody else's experiences with this mod.

I've just seen the ad. for that new Mazda - I love the bit about developing
the exhaust note by sampling the sound of over 100 classic roadsters. Lets
hope that sales of this machine make Rover Group Cars realise the export
goldmine they have sitting on the Triumph and MG marques - rather than using
the MG logo as a performance decal on most of their boring old boxes.
