There's some VERY nice tools kits around which some electronic "techies" carry
around - hard plastic briefcase/suitcase type boxes with pull out boards which
hold the tools (you've probably seen them around) using elastic loops. One
salesman had at least 20 different pliers/snippers on one board...
It wouldn't be too difficult to DIY one of these cases, and with a little foam
rubber between the boards and top/bottom of the case it shouldn't rattle.
