Ted Lepich asks: What are Spits going for now?
The Mountain States Edition of the N.A.D.A. Older Used Car Guide says:

1977 Spitfire - Avg. Trade-in=$675 Loan Value=$625 Avg. Retail=$1600

I might add $150 for the Hardtop, and another $100 or so for the overdrive.
The '80 engine doesn't add much, maybe a little if it was a low milage unit.

In the Denver area, top dollar for a low mileage, always garaged, '76to'80
Spitfire seems to be $2500-$3000.

IMHO, the later model, emmision choked, heavier, Spitfire is a poor copy
of it's early self and I would only buy one if it was a *very* good deal.
