This discussion about TR temp and fuel guages is of interest to me
because my TR4A's guages 'lie' also. I would suspect that my voltage
stabilizer is the culprit (I fiddled with it once when I should'nt have),
but the manner in which the guages read falsely is not what I'd expect
from a bogus voltage.

Here's the problem:

The temp guage tends to read high remaining very near the 'HOT' mark,
but I have no reason to believe that the engine's temp is even approaching
'HOT'.

The fuel guage however tends to read low, indicating only about 7/8's
of a tank when it is completely full.

If my voltage stabilizer was to blame I would expect to see both of them
regester 'high' or both 'low'... or am I missing something here?
