\whilst in London yesterday I picked up an issue of Classic Cars

\Model                   Yr      A       B       C
\----------------------------------------------------
\MG Midget 1500          74-79   4250    2000    750

\(Current exchange rate is about $1.85 == #1.00)

So by my estimation of the car as a "B" (not enough rust to make it a "C"),
this car would be worth about $3700 in London. I think that is more than it is
worth here. Circa $3000 sounds about right. I can't imagine who would have
offered her $6800 for it.

\Lotus Seven S1          57-61   12500   10000   5000
\Lotus Elan Spring dhc   71-73   15000   11500   7500
must be "Sprint" which would probably be the most sought-after Elan

\Lotus Europa SII        68-71   5500    4750    3000

My car is easily good enough to qualify for "C" on this scale. $5500 sounds
good to me, as I have $3750 in it (so far). Mine may not appeal to collectors,
as the trick carbie, manifolds, and scoops are not original. Also, mine is one
of the first Lotus 65 cars, whereas I would expect that these are the non-USA
Lotus 54.
