Uh, let's see if the memory still functions.  1 horsepower = 550 ft-lbs/sec.
Yep, that's it, I believe.  At least it comes out with the correct units.

You want to know how to get that from rotational displacement and torque?
Power is the torque times the angular velocity.  Should use units of radians
(which is dimensionless, technically speaking), lb-ft, and seconds.  And
don't forget the 550 fudge factor.
