I have a 1300, and I noticed the draining problem with
the filters the local import auto parts store sold me.
So I ordered some genuine Lucas oil filters from TRF
(wich turned out to be made in USA, ironically). They
were supposed to have the one-way valve that prevented draining.
BUT, they drained just as much as the other kind.
I think those valves built into the filters (a little rubber flap)
aren't especially effective.
