Yep, "Getrag" is the right spelling, and around here is pronounced "get-rag"
just like it looks.  It's really "GetrAG" probably, since it's the common
abbreviation for the name of the German gearbox manufacturer "Getreibe AG"
which translates to "Gearbox Corporation."
 
GetrAG's most famous client is probably BMW, and I'd be very suprised if
the 5-speed in the Jensen-Healey isn't the same as the ones used in the
small-body 4-cyl BMWs (2002, 320i) of that era.  I'll supply a full run-down
on what version of their gearboxes came in what BMW if you (or anyone)
wants to know.
